    Steve Swoap has been a member of the Williams faculty since 1996. He currently serves as the Howard B. '50 and Nan W. Schow Professor of Biology and has served as chair of the Biology department three times. He was the Director of the Williams-Exeter Programme from 2020-2022 and received a B.A. from Trinity University and a Ph.D. from the University of California, Irvine.
